Experience:

As Senior Advisor, Jay supports partnering efforts by leveraging his expertise on community engagement and executive alignment programs to foster positive external affairs and stakeholder relations. He has extensive experience in building and maintaining constructive relationships with clients, project partners and stakeholders, as well as government representatives and community groups. Jay works with clients and project partners to establish appropriate project governance and leadership processes to support the success of both the projects and project teams.  

 An industry leader in stakeholder engagement programs, Jay has led and facilitated formal partnering and team alignment programs on many of Clark Construction’s most complex projects and leading clients. Jay has served not only as the primary facilitator but has also worked in conjunction with third-party partnering consultants. His training, team alignment, and facilitation programs have helped strengthen working relationships among clients, design partners, contractors, and end-users. 

 As part of his civic and community engagement, Jay currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee for Strathmore, the performing arts organization in Montgomery County, Maryland. He also serves on the Board of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. Previously, he has served on the Board of Elders of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC and as Board Chair for DC SCORES, a Washington, DC based nonprofit that provides after-school soccer, poetry, and service-learning programs to elementary and middle school students in under-served areas of Washington, DC.
