As Managing Partner, David is responsible for overall management of the firm, as well as development and deployment of stakeholder partnering programs. He leads engagements directly with project teams, working with facility owners, operators, designers, trade partners, vendors, and other project stakeholders to drive project success. David has facilitated hundreds of Team Alignment Sessions, and leads stakeholder partnering programs on dozens of large, complex multi-stakeholder projects for federal, state, and local government, institutional, and private development clients across a range of product and market segments.
With 20 years of experience in various roles, David has a strong basis for understanding different perspectives in our industry. An engineer by education, he has served as a construction laborer, material testing technician, forensic engineer, construction claims analyst, design engineer, estimator, construction manager, and real estate developer. He led Clark Construction Group’s strategic planning, innovation, and research and development programs, and managed the organization’s efforts to resolve and mitigate the risk of disputes on a wide range of projects across the country. David also served as Clark’s Vice President of Client Service, leading the company’s programs to ensure stakeholder alignment, improve satisfaction, and drive trust among all stakeholders.
David is passionate about investing in the community. He serves on the board of directors for DC SCORES, a leading social & racial equity non-profit in Washington, DC dedicated to giving kids the opportunity to succeed in the classroom, on the soccer field, and in life.
