Experience:
As Principal, Chris leverages his background and experience in the building enclosure industry to provide clients with practical solutions to meet their building’s needs. The building enclosure is one of the most important components of an Owner’s building. Proper design, construction, maintenance, and repair of the enclosure can greatly reduce the risk of moisture-related issues through a building’s life. Chris provides enclosure consulting services to clients with both existing buildings and new construction projects from the design phase all the way to occupancy to help mitigate these risks. He also performs diagnostic and forensic investigations to help determine existing issues at our client’s buildings and facilitate the appropriate repair.
Chris brings a unique set of knowledge and technical expertise to the Carta team from nearly a decade of experience in the construction industry with a focus in building enclosure design and consulting. Prior to joining Carta, Chris worked for industry-leading building enclosure consultant and design firms where he performed a number of services including, but not limited to: enclosure consulting on new construction project teams from development of the Owner Project Requirements all the way through project close-out, moisture-related diagnostics and investigations to identify and correct the cause of issues, and the management of renovation, restoration and replacement design projects on commercial and institutional projects.
Chris is active in the building enclosure consulting industry and recently sat on the board for the Mid-Atlantic International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants Chapter.
